For 19 Kids and Counting’s Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, it’s the final countdown (ba-da-DAH-da!) as their wedding date of November 1 is fast approaching.
Yes, it’s now less than four weeks away, and to help get fans into the mood, TLC has given us a sneak peek at the cute couple’s wedding … invitations!
We’ve seen some cute Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald engagement photos since he put a ring on it, and they decided to use one for the invite, too.
Hey, when you’re soooo in love, you might as well flaunt it, even if it’s non-traditional. The Duggars, as we all know, march to the beat of their own drums.
The Arkansas couple is wasting little time getting down to business since they started courting last year. Ben proposed on the couple’s 11-monthiversary.
That was this August! It’ll be less than three months as an engaged woman by the time she dons her wedding dress and walks down the aisle.
When she does, it’s unclear if big sister Jana Duggar will be her maid of honor, as she was at Jill Duggar’s wedding this year, or if she’ll have several.
Like the now-pregnant Jill Duggar before she got hitched, Jessa has been subsisting on side hugs from Ben when it comes to physical affection.
Fortunately, that moratorium draws to a close in just 26 days!
While we expect Jessa and Ben to finally get to first base and possibly beyond on November 1, they may not entirely be following in Jill’s footsteps.
“We’re both open to children and [are] looking forward to starting a family of our own. We also really want to adopt,” Jessa said in a recent interview.
Ben echoed his bride-to-be’s sentiment, saying, “We’ve got a lot of different ideas about what we’re going to do, but adopting is definitely one of them.”
Interesting. We know how deeply Jessa values all human lives, as she made clear in her recent comments after visiting the Holocaust museum in D.C.
Adopting would definitely be a noble way to show it.
You have to wonder if parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have a strong opinion about that (as they do on many topics) one way or the other.
We can’t wait until they get married, and later, to see it all play out on camera on their TLC reality show when we watch 19 Kids and Counting online.
